PhotoSynth Release

You've been waiting for it, and now Microsoft has finally released the anticipated Photosynth application. With a simple download (and browser plug-in) you are able to take a gander at an ingenious way to brows digital photos.

Photosynth promises to take photography to a whole new level. How? It analyzes photos and displays them in a 3D environment, automatically adjusting for perspective and orientation to allow anyone to visually grasp the spacial element that has always been lacking in the photographer's world.

For now the service is free, and I highly recommend anyone give it a try.

In A Flash

I want to take a moment to talk about a website called Best Flash Animation Site. As the title may portray, the website is all about the best flash-based animation websites out there in cyberspace.

I find this place particularly interesting because websites are nominated for the weekly winning which naturally brings the good stuff to the surface. I like to wander its pages to see all the uber-tastic work that puts anything I can do to shame.

Coca-Cola Blak is just an example of the past winners within the website's treasure box of goodies.

I highly recommend a gander if you ever find you have some free time and a decent internet connection.
